The Design-Build Specialists

Under the direction of owners Jim & Christine Wertz, Wertz Landscaping, Inc. has grown to become a full service landscape contracting company. We specialize in combining plantscaping and hardscape materials. The construction of ponds, paver patios and walkways, retaining walls, fencing and lighting are used within the landscape to enhance existing outdoor spaces.

Our Experience

Wertz Landscaping, Inc. can completely accommodate the needs of its clients by offering in-house designers and an experienced installation crew. The staff is proud to be Penn State educated, having collectively earned degrees in Landscape Contracting, Landscape Architecture and Ornamental Nursery Management. The team's 70 years combined experience is evident in the commercial and residential projects that they have completed throughout Central PA.

Our Location - An Award Winning Experience

Located in the scenic Sinking Valley section of Altoona, our office features a deluxe pond that has appeared in the nationally circulated Pondkeeper Magazine. Additionally, the office's landscape layout has been recognized with an Award for Excellance in design and construction by the Pennsylvania Landscape & Nursery Association (PLNA).
